SOUTH EAST REGIONAL EMERGENCY SERVICES AUTHORITY (SERESA)
FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

911 EMERGENCY DISPATCHER – currently accepting applications.
Minimum requirements:
• Must be able to type 35 words per minute
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years experience in a capacity dealing with the public in a
communications/ telephone capacity.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and remain calm in
emergency situations.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure, demanding environment.
• Data entry or related computer experience with the ability to read
maps, to distinguish colors.

Preferred qualifications:
• At least 2 years experience in an emergency communications/
dispatch capacity.
• Certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher.
• LEIN certification.
• CPR trained.
• VisionAir Computer Aided Dispatch/Records Management System
experience.
• Clemis trained.

Hourly Rate: $19.05 - $22.45 depending on qualifications
